It really depends on if it's inattention that's the issue, or more of hyperactivity.

My daughter, even on meds was wiggling a lot, so she has a 504 plan at school now and has a stability ball chair for most classes, and for once class, a desk she can either stand at, or sit and swing her feet as needed.
