Chopin-I think Sally Brown has a point. Also, you are probably someone that he knows will get those numbers for him and be accurate about it. He might just need to busy his mind right now and pulling that information will give him something else to focus on other than what he just went thru. Seeing family is already hard and then to top it off- in that capacity makes it hard. I would just go enjoy your week off...in your soon to be clean house and take a breath. Like you said..your boss is a straight shooting guy..so I am sure he would be honest with you. Again, not understanding the politics of stuff like that-its just my heart felt opinion.
