No, haven't tried lithium. I have a messed up thyroid, so they are reluctant to try me on it. But thanks for the suggestion. I will discuss it with my pdoc tomorrow. I've been doing great with the geodon and what it's been doing for me is miraculous, so haven't looked at mood stabilizers like lithium and lamictal. Guess I need to widen my search and begrudgingly changing my meds. I'm just so sensitive to meds and usually have a running list of side effects. Thanks for the suggestion. Just difficult because I've found something that works so well for the mania and the psychosis without the weight gain. I gained 80 lbs on effexor and trileptal, not wanting to go that route again.
