Oh Confused, thought of something else. Since you can't take NSAID's, sometimes they will offer people with joint pain cortisone injections for the pain and inflammation. I had a few rounds of this in my shoulder when I lost the mobility of my shoulder and arm, basically from horrific pain. Felt like my bones would break if I moved them.

It wasn't till I went to physio and I got a big lecture about cortisone injections. I did research it and not so good. It can thin the bones (osteoporosis) and cause serious damage to the joints. It can also weaken the tendons or cause them to rupture. So while it does work quick to relieve the pain, long term might not be worth it. Anyways, just thought I would give you a heads up in case they offer that route. Then you can research it, I wish they had told me that first.
