I am just enraged on her behalf. It wouldn't be so bad if I didn't know for a FACT that she has done more community service than her brother who DID get in, and also know for a FACT that she participates in class more than her brother's girlfriend, who ALSO got in with less community service than my daughter. They are still punishing her for missing most of last semester because she was so ill. It's like they think she was malingering despite all the doctor notes.

Oh, also, the history teacher who had said that he should not have to go to the work of helping her catch up or stay after school so she could take tests because she was just going to get a B anyway, did in fact give her a B last semester, surprise, surprise. I asked for copies of all of the tests, and they did not give us a copy of the final, and two of the tests they did give us that were supposedly B's, the teacher made math errors and they were actually A's. But, they still claim she got a B in the class. Thinking I should just pull her out and put her back in private school.
Bull s h i t. Utter bull s h i t. I'm so sorry this has been a rotten day for you. Jeez Louise.

And I feel for your daughter. You want to believe that the people who TEACH CHILDREN are above such stupid, petty, unprofessional nonsense, but of course not. I hope you're able to get somewhere with the VP.
