Thank you all for your replies. Janet was returned by ambulance to a nursing home in her hometown. She is supposed to be there for a few weeks for physical therapy. She is very weak now and can only walk with a walker. Doing that causes her to get very out of breath even while on constant oxygen.

She was on a ventilator for 7 days at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis. This is the 9th time she has been hospitalized for her lung condition. She was very fortunate to survive this once again.
