Is your "team" actually treating the DID with psychotherapy or just offering admissions when your stress increases?
You are an adult. Even though you have DID, you are in control of your care. Tell your providers hospitalizations are harmful to you. Don't let them traumatize you.
Try to stay out of hospital.

I totally agree with you. And if you read back through my posts there was a time where I was in out right refusal to go, but it made my life very difficult and incredibly stressful to fight my providers all the time. I am in the process of getting a therapist who works with DID clients. I have issues working with just trauma trauma therapists, because when I go to work on the trauma, my parts become suicidal, so I need someone who knows how to work with parts and calm parts. But that same team leader who likes to put me in hospitals is fighting every move I make. She'll yell at me and tell me I just need a trauma therapist and it's too hard to find a DID specialist. But just like you said. IT'S MY RECOVERY and I KNOW what's BEST for me.
Now I never have to physically see her again, but she has control of my case for a few weeks longer. So if I try to make a move towards getting a DID therapist, she'll have something to say about it. This is the same woman who wanted me to work with a caseworker as a therapist. She obviously does not value therapy work, nor does she listen about how much my therapy means to me.
