I had no idea we had so many teachers here! This is great!
I have to go work in my room tomorrow and then continuing ed classes for all teachers on Wed. and Thurs. and not sure if I will get students until next week.
I'm looking forward to it, but like EJ said, I guess I'm also stressed!
Teaching art to middle schoolers is fun, but can be trying at that age!
About substitute teaching....try to stay calm and firm. Students will test a substitute teacher to the max so please remember it's not like having your own classroom. I also subbed before getting my full time job and found it very stressful. Now, having worked in the system for 17 years, I realizing I was too nervous as a sub and wanted to do everything perfectly.
