If you've been experiencing depression, then it can seem like wanting to cry has no reason behind it. It might be a good idea to see your health provider and report that you've been feeling this bad. I think most PCPs can recognize clinical depression. Getting diagnosed, at least, puts a name on what has gotten a grip on you. You're not obligated to begin taking any medication, although one might be offered to you.

If you think that seeing a doctor is not warranted, then it still might be wise to talk to someone, even one of your roommates. You're thoughtful to be concerned about your roommate whose parents are divorcing. That doesn't mean that you shouldn't talk to one of the other three . . . at least to express that you are feeling upset/down. Just having someone be in a position to ask you later, if you are feeling any better, can be a comfort.
