It's refreshing to see people who realize their emotions can be changed.
I don't know about changing your dreams or body or energy. I don't know if I buy that. Actually, I really don't.
But, you can indeed choose your reactions to life events and choose your emotions.
Say someone cuts you off in traffic. You can either get angry and let it spoil your day, or choose to acknowledge the jerk then move on and not let them spoil your mood. We do have a lot of choices with emotions and our reactions to them.
Choosing your emotions isn't ignoring a problem. It's acknowledging it, seeing the good and the bad in a situation, and moving past it. Too many people dwell on bad emotions, and that makes them turn into a cycle of depressed, unhappiness.
