(((Emerald)))

I can relate, to an extent. It sounds like you're relatively young. A time in which other people's opinions of us means a little more to us than it does later in life. Girls didn't like me at all until I was in my early 30's. I don't know if they made lies up about me, but I was a black sheep in school and at work. Guys did like me (and still do), but my self-esteem is much too low to be fulfilled by others.

If people could see my self-esteem, they'd see that haven't a thing to worry about with me around! However, drinking a few beers does boost it a bit & that's a time when my behavior is much more confident and perhaps seen as threatening by other women??? I don't allow myself to become completely loaded anymore though, because that's when serious mistakes are made. It's been 20+ years since I've done that ~ back in high school.

Gentle hugs to you!
