i also think it would be difficult to differentiate between asperger's and OCD symptoms. I think a good way to think about it is, if things are not symmetrical or even numbered, then what? are you going to freak out? do you do anything to "fix" it? (eg rituals, etc?) because OCD comes in two parts, obsessions and compulsions. the compulsion is the action that you take as a result of the obsession... the obsession would be ok, things are not symmetrical or even, what is going to happen? and the obsession could be anything from im going to die, to im going to get contaminated. if there is no compulsion (eg things are not even, so if i dont count to 50 ten times, i am going to die), then i would lean more toward it being an aspergers symptom.
