I'm not sure what to tell you. If your friend doesn't have any history of depression or has never had any issues, etc., it might be a little too much for her, and it could scare her off. She MIGHT think it's a little "kinky" and she might decide to avoid you afterwards. Some people are like that. It's a shame, but it happens. I guess what I'm saying is I'd be really careful what I told her, and how much.

You've been thru so much trauma in your life -- my gosh, your parents certainly were not supportive in any way. They were like mine. And your parents didn't mind your moving across country at 15? Good grief. Such a tragedy!

I know you have your degree, but what about going into therapy yourself? Don't you think it would be a good idea? It has certainly helped me immensely! While I know you know all about psychology, but putting it to use on yourself is something else. Talk with a psychologist, and see what happens, huh? You might be surprised!!
