Welcome to the site. You have been through so many challenges in your life...I can only imagine how lucky your patients are/will be and how much empathy you must have. I would agree with LEED and maybe talking to your friend, but not giving too many specifics. This person may be understanding, but you never know, and if by chance they aren't as understanding as you might be it may be very difficult and awkward to work with them after. There are SO many wonderful, understanding people on this site so maybe we/they can help somehow.

I feel I have treatment resistant depression, but many on this site have had a lot of help with quieting their thoughts and mind with medication, just a thought.
