My sister had her at her house for a week or so after a recent hospitalization, and she related to me how her nerves were frazzled. She couldn't handle her either, though she was never the victim of abuse like I was. She is my only sister.
I do feel compassion for my mom as she ages and gets weaker, but I also know I have to take care of my own fragile mental health!
