I have never been one to drink soda or sugary type drinks. I do love me some coffee, though
Fizzy, bubbly drinks create misery for my stomach.
When I drink or eat anything with aspartame, within a few minutes, I start feeling quite ill, so no incentive really. I really try to avoid it.
I also have high sensitivity to msg so I have to be careful about what I consume, in general
I dont think artificial sweets contribute to my feelings of depression because I avoid it. Although, if I have low blood sugar, I feel very grumpy and not well.
