You are very welcome Tigerlily I appreciate the like minded interest and I apologize for the delayed response I thought this post slipped through the cracks. I'm working on more for emotional control but for now this may help.
Here's one of my latest little methods of controlling my emotions is imagining a mouse trackball in my mind. It rests in the minds center where everything is calm and when ever I feel my emotions straying I just move the ball back to center.
And yes I would concur Okala, we only need feel an emotion long enough to understand it, then we can set it down and pick up as needed to use against other emotions. It's nice to see another explorer of the mind, I think we stand out sometimes.
