I only caught part of it but they were talking about societies obsession with zombies, the government, big pharma companies, genetic modification, bio wars .. how this could be a real possibility. Probably a lot of hype, but you never know.

Right now scientists are working on creating genetically modified camels, for pharmaceutical companies. The gm'd camel milk will be used in cheaper drugs. Apparently human genes have "successfully been inserted intogenetically modified cows that now allow them to produce ‘human’ milk — milk that has the very same properties as human breast milk." And it was created with the intent to market it in supermarkets within three years.

"The milk is still undergoing safety tests, but with government permission it will be sold to consumers as a more nutritious dairy drink than cow's milk." k bovine milk isn't really all that good for us I don't believe, but ..."It's better for you because it's genetically modified". ..

Pretty sure the more you read and dig the more crazy you will find these examples are probably mild. But injecting foreign dna into other species, or even humans, seems like it could be very problematic. I believe I did read a tiny bit about tinkering with gm'd human dna, kinda scared to read it.
