Hi Gismo,

Have you recently stopped drinking? If so how long ago? The thiamin and vitamin B are prescribed to help prevent central nervous system caused by alcoholism.

If you have recently stopped drinking, then the brain fog, may be simply your brain readjusting itself to not having alcohol in it. If you were a very heavy drinker for a long time, it's going to take some time for your brain to normal out. When I first stopped drinking, I was in a complete fog for 3 months and it took me 9 months to get back to even close to my normal level of functioning when I was drinking.

But if you're concerned I'd talk to you're prescribing therapist.
