Participating is fun enough. But gotta warn ya, if you get anywhere close to where you need to be to succeed, it can be quite an addiction to try to top it off...

I remember the year I did young adult, which are often shorter than a normal novel. So I set myself out for fewer pages than you need to "win" (as it's called, everyone that can make the word count is a WINNER, which is quite cool), and a few days before the challenge ended I had my words for my personal goal....

Yea... then I realized I wanted the full graph of progress... so I wrote enough fillers to get that. In two days... Yikes!
