I just want you all to know that I completely understand. I'm a 63yr old grandma, and I've been invisible all my life. While "friends" might ask me to go along somewhere with them, I'm totally ignored the whole time. If I said something in the conversation, no one heard it. If I asked a question, no one responded.
I remember one time a bunch of us went to a convention, and I was "elected" to stand in line to get a book from the convention. They would wait for me. While I was waiting in line, I saw everyone walking away -- this convention had 2000 people there, so I'd have trouble finding them if they got too far away.

I finally got thru the line, and found my group, and asked them why they left -- they said "Oh, we forgot about you." That hurt me to the core of my being.

We had spent the whole weekend together at this convention and they FORGOT me? This was just a few years ago.
So being invisible goes on. People still don't see me. I guess you have to stand on a ladder and SCREAM. LOL God bless you all and please take care. Hugs, Lee
