foolish38 I once had a doctor that I hated so much. He never seemed to listen to me, pushed everything aside. I am 16 years old, and I have been struggling with depression since I was 10. The one time I tried to tell my doctor I was hearing voices and he told me "I don't believe you are. You are crazy." This was my doctor when I was in the Psychiatric unit. I wanted a new doctor so bad, but in order to get a new doctor there you had to talk to the doctor that you have about switching doctors. And of course I was only 14 so I was scared to ask him. Long story short, I never did get a new doctor, the voices continued, and I was sent home a couple days after. Within a week of being out I was in another psychiatric unit... My advice to you is if you want a new doctor, go and get a new one. You can never get any better if you aren't given the care you need.
