Common Signs of Depression
Depression is the most common mood disorder. A doctor will tell you that depression is a result of an imbalance of chemicals in the brain. This is why doctors prescribe chemically manufactured prescription drugs to reverse the imblance.

Irritability and a change in normal sleep patterns are also signs of depression. If you experience these symptoms over a prolonged period of time, you should consult a physician right away. Thoughts of suicide and death are severe repercussions of an untreated depression disorder.

There are many different forms of depression. The good news is that most forms of depression can be treated. From bipolar to postpartum disorders, depression is very a serious disease and should not be taken lightly. If you notice the symptoms of depression in yourself or someone close to you, schedule an appointment with a physician immediately.

Only your doctor can really diagnose you and treat you, if you do feel that this is a problem, and you feel that it is depression, go talk to your doctor, he/she will be able to treat it if that is the case.

I wish you the best of luck, Take care.
