I'm sure he could use some support, so why don't you ask him if he wants you there. No, it's not a very pleasant thing to go to court, but that's the least you could do for him if he wants you there. So ask him -- maybe he'll say no, and then you won't have to worry about it. But really -- you should be there for him if he wants you there. It's not like it's going to take 4 days or anything.
