That's one of the nice things about e-mail therapy. I've never walked out of a f2f session, but sometimes something in an email does send me to the other end of the house. Once I found myself standing in the kids' bathtub, which is the as far as I could go without going through a wall. But the message is still there when I get back. That doesn't happen so much anymore, and the messages that did that were just powerful. After getting through them once I could re-read the messages more easily.

If you are regularly walking out on f2f sessions, you might want to work on increasing your tolerance for it so that you can stay in the room.
