You may not be able to get social security disability because you do not have enough work quarters, but you would be eligible for SSI. We handled SSI applications when I worked for the welfare office in Florida.. You may want to check there. They can process your application for you which is good. Note though that every state is different. I worked for the State of Florida so check your welfare office and the state regs. Good luck to you!!
