I did once refer to T as "Captain Obvious." He said, "women used to do a lot of housework in the 1950's" (and described some big machine that would iron your sheets and stuff).

I said, "women still do a lot of housework now."

Actually, I'm not sure if that exchange is what earned him the nickname. I'm not so mean, I've only used it a couple of times.
