I am glad propranalol works so well, and my p-doc explained to me that the dose of propranalol used to combat akathisia is small, much smaller than the blood pressure lowering dose, so I (with my low blood pressure) can take propranalol safely. But I ended up not trying Abilify because reducing the dose of Geodon was sufficient. And I am sort of glad, because I already take Levoxyl to counteract the effect of Lithium on my thyroid, and I would ideally not want to take more anti-side effect drugs. Not that I have anything against the concept of anti-side effect drugs, but I think that taking one of them is enough.

Other things being equal, I prefer drugs with positive side effects. The drug I take for sleep, Amitriptyline, also reduces the frequency and severity of migraines. That is the kind of thing that I like. There should be more drugs like that.
