I use to do the same thing until three months ago. My suggestion is to snap a rubber band on your wrist every time you get the urge to cut. I understand how much of a release of stress it is but it's no good. I have scars on my wrist that will never go away because I Chose not to stop. Once I get more techniques from my therapist I will let you know some different ways to distract yourself. I am not the one to tell you that it can do this or that to you, I just want to help.
