I can understand the fears and yet also know it is truly never too late to make changes. Even with being less than optimistic, which may be something to look into why that is, even the smallest of changes can make a big difference. Then adding more and more changes over time, it makes them easier to deal with and healthier in the process. Meanwhile, please be kind to yourself in doing what you feel is best for you and for your health. It can be hard to break habits but if you put your mind to it, it can be done.
