i would like to see those in high places to live in our 'paradise' for a year, their attitudes and laws soon would be changed.

cabs are reliably unreliable, it is even in their literature that they can't guarantee cabs will arrive.
the cab company state they are reaching far more than their expected quota of 95% of people within 30 minutes... yeah right I must be the other few percent myself the amount of times they have left me hours waiting and on one occasion a few years ago told me they were not going to keep trying to find one after two hours so left me stranded outside my doctors in the rain and dark in my manual chair which i can't even mobilise outside in on my own!(doc had just dxd a chest infection)

I too get the resentment feeling, though like you do feel guilty for feeling it. i just don't see why everyone with the same physical needs don't get the same physical support and aids, it's just not fair!!!
