Hi all,

Well I did it. I survived rehab and have now been sober 33 days. I had an awful withdrawl time, including a seizure, so I guess that just tells me how sick I was. Rehab was really intense but I learned a lot about myself (not all of it pleasant). I made some new friends and am now feeling better. Most importantly I feel like I broke the awful cycle I was on.

I've got a sponsor in AA and am committed to really working at staying sober this time - I never want to be that sick again.

It's just kind of freaky to think about rebuilding my life and learning how to live sober.
