(((wise woman)))) We are going through a hard transition right now with my niece. I come from a family that has all it's own issues too!!! My poor daughter has her own depression with anxiety issues, a mom & dad with our own issues, and aunts, uncles & granparents. One would think they'd all know how to deal, huh??

I don't know what ocd demons are, so I am not sure how to deal with that. I do know for my niece, we are just staying in contact with her as much as possible. Is this your daughter's first year in college? This is my niece's first. Right now we are just working with her little by little with reassuance, and my SIL is in contact with the school, and S (my niece) is seeing the school psychologist. Maybe that is an avenue you can check out if you haven't already. Also, if you go or are at that route right now, your daughter can give permission for you to speak with them. My daughter has done this with her doctors and the school.

If you come up with any good ideas for support let me know too. This is real hard on S, she's 7 hours away from home, in a college that has a large deaf community.

Much love in prayers, for you and your family. Hugs, Lisa
