I think you'll be ok, as you've been there before, doing everything. I guess you have to use what you learned last time, and make sure you dont give him too much of you, your time and your money. You're in control now, so dont panic!!

I hope you manage to strike a balance where you can help him emotionally (but not financially) just not at the cost of yourself, if you know what I mean. You could encourage him and support him if he starts looking for another job, sometimes someone just cheering from the sidelines can mean a lot. I don't think you need to feel guilty for having a life of your own and your studies. If he gets too clingy, perhaps sit down and talk to him? Am sure if he cares for you he'll understand.
