I actually "like" him and I like to "consider" his point of view. I think he is a very intelligent man. He is a "man" and he has an education in psychiatry, it doesn't make him god, but it is interesting to see what he has to say. And he doesn't "bash" people, he simply gives his point of view.
The offer to prescribe medications was a joke, he saw this election to be a stressful one, and he was right, it was.
He is one of the people I like to consider as "his take" on things. I think he might be either a conservative or maybe an independant, not sure.
I also like him because he remains "calm", not so emotional like other comentators.
I really try to stay away from "overly emotional" people when it comes to viewing political "drama". It is clear that msnbc news is "liberal" and Cnn leans democrat, and Fox leans "conservative" but has some opposing views that will debate the "conservative" opinions.
There is no real "independant" news channel, which is annoying, and my therapist agrees with me there. So I tend to go back and forth and try to stay away from the "over the top" emotional ones, I can't take Rush either. The PTSD just gets too triggered with "drama type people". I give myself Kudos for even watching any of it tbh. With the PTSD so bad I shut all of that out for a "while", I didn't need anything more to "rev me up" in addition to already struggling.
