You lost me there, CE - can you give an example or a pointer to an explanation? I mean, it's true that Danish w.o. is like English w.o., but it is equally true for Swedish (and Norwegian). We have the same basic word order: subject - verb - object. There are some quirks and word order changes that are different in the different languages, but not very many, and I can't think of any where Danish is like English and Swedish isn't.
