Often ppl ...well-meaning ppl... often well-meaning Christian ppl... say this for a few reasons, imo. 1) They don't understand how ppl can suffer in spite of a faith in God, 2) The comment removes all burden from them to do anything further for you, but places all the responsibility directly on your own shoulders and 3) People truly do not understand mental unwellness and the mind-body connnection and how awesome God made us so intricately.

I'm sorry you suffered, and continue to suffer. Please don't take off handed comments to heart. We both know better Flashbacks are confusing enough without other's ignorant comments, imo. ((((littlefish))))
