<font color="green">[b] I've done some basic study on enzymes lately... and I'm amazed at what I've found.
If you are anemic, don't eat PEANUTS, SPINACH nor drink any BLACK TEA. They all form an enzyme that binds with the IRON in your system and the body then throws it OUT!!!
If you have any stomach/bowel distress...gas, bloat, heartburn, aching, consitpation...etc... something is amiss with your digestion. Try digestive enzymes. There are 3 of them needed for good digestion. (One for starches, one for fats, one for proteins)
I learned that enzymes are responsible for controlling the esophagus. I have had more and more troubles with aspiration (breathing in what should be going into the stomach!) and tried a vegetarian pill of digestive enzymes... and I haven't aspirated in the short time (2 weeks?) since beginning them! I also don't have any need for Rolaids either!
I've heard that sometimes ppl don't have enough stomach acid to digest their foods... to find out which problem is yours (if you have one, too much or too little acid) you can take a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar with a normally upsetting meal... if your stomach settles... you need MORE acid. Go figure!
Now I want to know why my illustrious doctors didn't figure all this out for me??? I have a jaw/chewing problem, I'm anemic, I have aspiration problems...etc. I'm eager to get new blood work done soon...to see how my iron/protein levels are doing
Hope this helps someone figure out their troubles too!
