Sconnie...I'm sorry your appointment was a nightmare. I would not want to be treated by a student, period. I had a problem at my last MD appt because both of the nurses were sick. My doctor's wife, who is the office manager did my vitals (not that it's difficult to do...I could do them) then asked what I wanted to talk about with the doctor . I do not like the woman to begin with. Then she started telling me how young I looked, but that my husband (who had fallen asleep in the chair across from me) wasn't looking so young anymore (I'm 35 and he's 44). The next statement was the winner, "My husband doesn't look so young anymore either. Sometimes people mistake me for Dr. G's daughter." It's the other way around. He's in his early 50's and she's in her late 40's, but he looks a decade younger than her. Needless to say, her lack of tact is the reason why I didn't want to talk to her. I wanted to do this:
