Well, there doesn't seem to be any way to avoid taking the QP/Group Home Manager position at work. I'm good with it, though because of this:
Boss said the way to get back into my current position will be to develop it myself and prove it. I love a good challenge.
Plus, my management style will be totally different than in the past. You f**k it up, you get written up. I just had a nice conversation with the current QP and she's not thrilled with the idea of being a group home manager either. Most of the staff are on 1-2 write ups. By the time we get done, we'll have turned over the entire staff. I especially will not have time to play or fool with stupid, petty, vindictive staff.
