Good for you for getting out and exercising! So many of us (myself included) intend to, but never do it. As for appetite, your body is probably just trying to find some new balance. Also, eating can just be a bad habit. I call it "grazing" at my house. If I'm not doing much, I tend to want to eat more. Trust your body, it's efficient and these changes are most likely very positive. Good luck and keep at it! I hope things get normal, or better, soon. Peace.
