I got talked into running for Parlimentarian for our school's chapter of Phi Beta Lambda its the post secondary version of FBLA. I was sitting in my desktop publishing class when my instructor walked in and talked me into being nominated from the floor. So I was and was voted in. I wasn't surprised that I was because there wasn't anyone running against me. So now I get to learn Robert's Rules of Order. I am hoping the library has a book because the website was mainly there to get you to buy the book.

I had to stand up and give a speech. All I really said was my name is Jan, I'm an administrative assistant major, I think I'd be good at this vote for me. All I have to do now is go clothes shopping because on the days of the meetings I have to dress in business casual and I don't think T-shirts and jeans will cut it. What a bummer having to go shopping hehe.
