I have to agree with mrb81 that if you are not confident in this person's integrity, maybe you should put off telling this person. Or maybe you can start by telling this person a non-secret to see if it gets around. Are you in high school or college? Is there anyone else you can confide in, like maybe some sort of professional. I've been out of HS for a while, but don't they have guidance counselors? I think colleges are required to have mental health personnel on site. Good luck!
