What a night it has been!

You know as a Canadian it is weird for me to hear about those in the UK or the USA to complain about winter and the cold weather that comes from it . An example of life on the Canadian Prairies…

My car has a flat tire, and when I went to take out the spare tire, I found something would shock those in warm houses and pleasant climates…

…the tire was frozen to the car.

Actually, the entire trunk was frozen, along with the spare tire in it.

As we were assessing the situation, the flashlight froze on us. We had to use another vehicle's headlights, since the flashlights wouldn't work in these temperatures.

In the end it took three of us over an hour and a half with a sledge hammer and a crowbar to remove enough of the ice to be able to remove the spare tire.

And you know what's even scarier than this? It's not half as cold outside as it could be. I've heard of people using torches to heat the under-carriage of their cars, and I started to think we might have had to do that, but I left that decision to my grandfather.

Now we must ascertain how the ice got in there in the first place .

Seriously, though, this is why I hate winter…

Just wanted to share this with my buddies on PC . Be warm tonight!
