I think Xanax is a controlled substance. If you really want to get serious with the pharmacist who filled the prescription, call the pollice into it and find out whether the drug was taken from their inventory or if, in fact, it was an honest mistake.

It may not be worth your time. The best thing to do, in my view, is to call your doctor and ask for a new prescription and take that to another pharmacy where the integrity might not be in question.

Honest mistakes occur in business, and it may be nothing more than that. But the pharnacist who offered to fill it for you and then refused may be questionable,too, since he has access to records and can easily determine if a drug was filled.

I'd take my prescriptions elsewhere in the future, unless I got an apology from the company handling your medications.
