I think just the fear of the depression coming back might be causing you depression. Maybe talk to your doctor about working in therapy on ways to combat the anxiety about depression returning.

Personally, I am very often haunted by the anixety that I will "lose my mind" or fall back into the horrid pits of depression (which are quite intolerable). If I had better tools to fight this anxiety, I'd be better off.

Take every day at a time (maybe even divide days into manage chunks) and find ways to stay healthy that day. At night, remind yourself what went well that day, or when you catch yourself getting depressed, try to understand why it is happening.
