Not swimming but I know of it's benefits and exercise is a proven respite from depression in any form if juggled into a schedule regularly.

I was into stretching and calisthenics for quite some time...usually on and off. I'm off right now...since Sept. Bummer. Still do a little but not the 45 minutes minimum I was doing. Would like to try yoga...not the easier stuff but perhaps the more advanced. I'm pretty flexible right now. And more aerobic stuff...even walking. Plan to start that again soon.
