I spent the afternoon with my friend yesterday. His son called to say he was going to pop in for a visit and he became so excited that he was going to see his son. Well I noticed that much of the conversation lead by his son were things like, I'm going hunting with my friend whose father has a 5 million dollar ranch, and another friends dad worth this much and just made a few more comments about money. He knows good and well that his dad has no money and no job. I wasn't around in the years that lead to my friends disability or divorce or loss of home and income or family. BUt I do know how much he loves his son. I thought it was selfish for the boy to insert his money crap instead of visiting or seeing how much progress his dad has made in these past months. His dad is worth more than damn money!!! My dad passed many years ago and my husband passed 2 1/2 years ago. I would live with them in a freaking tent if it meant they could come back. I think the kid misses the money they had more than he misses his dad..UGH!!! I'm sorry in advance if I've said anything that would be upsetting to them in this post.
