I have to agree with the above post. You did sound like a caring father and nothing more.

What this means is that you know you'll have the appropriate answer to your daughters so you can support them when they come to that age. If you're able to be open with them and show them how concerned you are about their dating life (in a non-intrusive way) they will most likely tell you what is going on in their relationship and hopefully pick men who are worthy of their attention.
