I think using abbreviations means not much over context of what is being said. I use abbreviations at times ( some people here don't say Pdoc, or T, or meds, BPD, LOL, US, PC ?? ), but I also put quite a bit of thought and sadly for readers.. length in to my posts or texts, emails. My grammar and spelling are not great. I try my best, but I might miss stuff here and there.

Autocorrect gives me american spellings, which after a long time of constantly getting corrected and errors underlined, even tho the spelling is correct in my country makes me doubt my own spelling capability. And I do get confused.
